What is the IvoMar iPanel ®?

The IvoMar iPanel ® is an Internet research panel and now consists of many thousands of people. These people are usually recruited via our regular in-home or location surveys. They are almost always people who are responsible for the daily shopping. A large amount of data is recorded about this group of people; not just the usual background information such as age and gender, but also their use of products and brands is recorded in detail.

 

What can I use IvoMar iPanel ® for?

The IvoMar iPanel ® is versatile. Of course it can be used for testing a concept, in which process the participants rate packaging and descriptions. In addition, the panel is frequently used for in-home tests: participants try a product that we sent them, in their own home, and then complete the online questionnaire. Of course it is also possible to combine these two: first a concept component online, followed by an in-home component with the same group.

 

What are the main benefits of IvoMar iPanel ®?

1. The panel is mainly made up of consumers selected through our regular in-home and location surveys, with nationwide coverage. All these people are approached in the street, so we can speak of real consumers, not an atypical group who happened to use the Internet a lot.

2. The IvoMar iPanel ® is used for many forms of research: for concept testing, for assessing audio and/or video material, as well as for in-home surveys where we send the product to the panellists for testing in their own home.

3. Because we have recorded a lot of background information about our panellists, including what products and brands they use, we can make extensive selections.

4. The lead-time is relatively short: usually the report is completed within a week.

5. The cost of IvoMar ScanTest ® surveys is low.

 

How does the IvoMar iPanel ® work?

Respondents are invited via e-mail to take part in a survey. Because we record a lot of data about each respondent's usage of products, we can easily select the right group. Participants complete the questionnaire online. Depending on the type of research, such as a proof of concept or an in-home test, the desired response can usually be obtained within one to a few days. Subsequently, we make the report, which you will usually receive by e-mail within one week after the start of the survey.

 

What products can be included?

For in-home testing using the IvoMar iPanel ®, products can be both blind-tested and marketed-tested. Refrigerated or frozen products cannot use the IvoMar iPanel ® test, as this is only possible with regular in-home surveys. You can choose monadic survey (one product), or comparative research (two products).
